There are many different wire mesh products to choose from. And it's hard to know which one to buy. One of the decisions you need to make is whether you need a Galvanized Welded Mesh Fence or a vinyl coated mesh.

What is the difference between Galvanized Welded Mesh Fence and vinyl coated wire mesh fences?

Galvanized Welded Mesh Fence are welded or woven. Zinc-plated wire mesh galvanized after welding or weaving (GBW) and welding or weaving (GAW) mesh galvanizing. The difference between these two types is explained in our blog "Before galvanizing with grids and fences". The most common and accessible fence grid is GBW. These are the merchandise networks that all large stores sell. GAW products are:

      Harder to find
      They are of higher quality
      More expensive
      They will last longer

Both have the same characteristics of a galvanized surface. But the GAW Mesh Fence is much better.
